    Local Area

A famously mild climate, gorgeous beaches, picturesque villages and top attractions - enjoy them all when you stay in Cornwall. It’s all about the sea in the far South West.Ranging from the wide sweep of Whitsand Bay to tiny hidden coves reached by winding tracks, the beaches of South Cornwall are as perfect for lazy summer days as for invigorating winter walking. And there’s a great range of water sports on offer too. Venture inland and you’ll find an array of enticing attractions in Cornwall. The Eden Project, where giant transparent domes recreate different climate conditions, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan promise fascinating days out, and there’s plenty of thrills at Flambards and Dobwalls theme parks. Sea angling trips and boat rides from charming fishing villages like St Mawes, Mevagissey, Looe and Polperro attract many visitors staying in Cornwall, and Fowey is a firm favourite with the sailing community. The cathedral city of Truro and historic Penzance are both well worth a visit.

I would recommend anyone to stay at this site as it is in a great location, very clean and close to Newquay and lots of local facilities. The site has a park and a pool. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The site was everything we could have wanted, peaceful but family friendly with an excellent staff base who looked after us all the way through our trip even with things like suggesting places to visit. The pool was very clean & always warm, the other facilities on the park (laundry, shop & bar with games room) all compliment the site & we didn't feel unwelcome at all. Over all an amazing park & we can't wait to go back next year.

The site is very well kept and quiet but with a good swimming pool and play area. It's great for families with young children and a great base to explore this area of Cornwall.

Site was small enough to be personal and not too loud late at night. Kids loved the pool and play area.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful break, this is the site for you. Modern well equipped 8 berth 3 bed roomed caravan. Well kept grounds. Great children's play area. Fantastic indoor heated swimming pool. Small shop on site with basic supplies all reasonably priced, also Morrisons supermarket within two miles. Small friendly bar on-site. Drinks well priced and the Guinness was kept to perfection. Friendly helpful staff with good knowledge of local area and activities. Children loved the wild rabbits and ducks which frequently passed by. Newquay, Crantock, Holywell Bay, Perranporth all a short drive away making this site a great base to explore from. All in all a great family holiday.

It?s situated in a nice, quiet secluded location. The service was impeccable from the staff and the static caravan was of an extremely high standard. Everything was brilliant and I'd go back!

Nice quiet location but close enough to town. Great base to travel to more or less anywhere in Cornwall. Great pool for the children, staff were very friendly. Have stayed here before and would do again.

Very roomy caravan - ours was brand new and the standard of everything was excellent. The location of the site is perfect for exploring most of the county and there are lots of good, inexpensive pubs nearby.

This is one of the nicest sites we have stayed on, we have stayed here before and had no hesitation about booking it again. Safe for the children and kept really well. We were lucky enough to be in a brand new caravan which was lovely. I would highly recommend this site if you want a nice relaxing break about 3 miles outside of Newquay and an excellent base for visiting this beautiful part of the country.

I would recommend this holiday to any family or couple, the staff were so helpful & polite, they made you feel very welcome, the park was lovely & kept very tidy at all times, swimming pool & kids play area were a great hit with my kids, location wise was good too, with supermarkets nearby & a short drive into Newquay make it a great place to be based, accommodation in the park was great, we stayed in a lodge & it was like a home from home. All in all I would highly recommend Riverside to all & will be going back very soon.

A glorious setting, tucked away in a haven of peace, yet only a four or five minute drive to the centre of Newquay. Beautifully clean and picturesque, this holiday park will take some beating. Sit out on your balcony while the sun sets with a glass of wine, all you will hear is the birds sing, wonderful holiday, thanks a lot Riverside, thanks a lot Hoseasons.........

We would definitely recommend Riverside Holiday Park to our friends and we ourselves are already planning to come again next year. It was great to have an indoor pool which was very clean and perfect to have a swim at the end of the day exploring the fantastic coastal areas. The staff at Riverside were very friendly and accommodating.

Riverside is a lovely small and quiet site for families and couples. On arrival we were amazed by the amount of rabbits round the place - it's out in the countryside and really quiet. Very relaxing. The rabbits are almost tame. The kids loved the pool which was warm even at the end of October. Staff were really friendly and made the beds up prior to arrival, and even rang us the night before to see when we would be arriving and put the fire on for us in advance so it would be warm when we got there. Superb!

The caravan park is kept very clean and tidy. My son loved the rabbits hopping around the caravans.
