For a quiet break the site is excellent and we were impressed that the central heating was on, a welcome tea/coffee pack available, toilet rolls, wash-up liquid etc. was all there, also pegs on the washing line, something we have never had before. The site was exceptionally clean and well cared for.

I would just like to say I have been on lots of caravan holidays all over the UK, and the 4 days my boyfriend and I have spent at Crofthead were amazing! The caravan was lovely and looked brand new, and the decking finished it off. The rooms were lovely and a good size with plenty of storage room. The kitchen had everything and all the utensils we needed, the living room was lovely and bright and was always warm, and the park is very central, only 5 minutes from Ayr. I would just like to thank all staff and Hoseasons for an amazing holiday, and we hope to be back at Crofthead in the summer.

If you like a peaceful caravan park this is for you. The caravans are immaculate and people staying there are very friendly. It is excellent for sightseeing as Rabbie Burns monument and house are nearby, Ayr is only 2 miles away which has a beautiful harbour and a good shopping centre. Also Royal Troon is nearby if you like golf or visiting the beach, there are many attractions in the area and for shopping (groceries) there is an Asda about 5 mins drive away and also a Morrisons. The local Chinese will deliver to Crofthead and can highly recommend the 88 Chinese takeaway. The overall break was one of relaxation or you can make it as lively as you want with nearby attractions, would thoroughly recommend this holiday park.

Lovely quiet site, yet only a couple of miles from the town centre. Fabulous caravan, beds made up and a little welcome pack of biscuits, coffee and tea were unexpected, thoughtful extras.

This was a very pleasant country site yet in close proximity to the attractive resort of Ayr. It was excellent value for money and the holiday home far exceeded our expectations. It was our first stay with Hoseasons and we were delighted with the high standard of accommodation and service at Crofthead.

Excellent accommodation, one of the best caravans that I have ever stayed in. Excellent site for a quiet retreat. The staff were extremely helpful, after telephoning the site to explain that we would be delayed until late evening I was assured that there wouldn't be a problem, when we arrived they had put the heating on to make sure that the accommodation was warm when we arrived. The view from the caravan was very picturesque.

If you want peace and quiet for a few days I would recommend this park. It's very residential which is lovely if you prefer to chill. If you're looking for entertainment and things to do you won't get it on this park. I enjoyed my stay for a few days break just to get away from it all and relax........
