It was a really relaxing holiday and perfect couple's getaway - our first without kids in seven years. It looks just like the pictures on website. There are just the six lodges set in the hills with outstanding views. Hot tub is fab we even used it when it was -2 outside. We are planning to make it our yearly trip on our own and will be recommending it to everyone. It really couldn't have been any better.

We have stayed in places all over Wales but this lodge is by far the best. Excellent value for money. Perfect location. Great for families. The hot tub is amazing. Gets better each year. Would recommend Hoseasons and this lodge to anyone. It looks as good as it does on the pictures.

Belan Bach lodges need to be recommended to others because until you go there you can't really appreciate the location or accommodation. We were particularly lucky that the weather was beautiful for us but we were stunned by the views and wildlife around us. Buzzards soaring above, woodpeckers and all manner of other birds landing around the lodge. My daughter loved the sheep and lambs that were in the fields all around. The lodge was lovely and well equipped with milk in the fridge and tea/coffee items, dishwasher tablets, fluffy white towels and well the hot tub! Perfect! The location is quite remote, but we liked that, would just suggest that you do all your shopping and bring it with you. We were out sightseeing all day anyway so location didn't bother us, oh and a trip to Lake Vyrnwy is a must, stunning. We had a fantastic break a way with 2 adults, 2 teenagers and one child and everyone loved it.

The park is very remote but is set in a lovely part of Wales, within travelling distance of Snowdonia and other local attractions. The lodges are well laid out and very quiet and private. Ideal for a weekend away.

I will recommend it to all of our friends because North Wales is a beautiful place to visit. Great hiking possibilities and spectacular views. The lodge we stayed in was superb. It was great to sit in the hot tub after mountain hiking and we loved the fireplace. Overall it was a very romantic short break for us with full of adventures and we cannot wait to go back there.

The lodge was set in beautiful surroundings, a peaceful location with total privacy. The added bonus of a hot tub on the decking was fantastic and the lodge itself was amazing.

Before we went I read all the comments of others who had been before and I am pleased to say they were all right: perfect location, you won't be disappointed. The hot tub was just the icing on the cake, overlooking the beautiful views of the fields. I recommend Barmouth beach, Harlech Castle and Lake Vyrnwy (the waterfall here: Rhiwargor is definitely worth a look) The nearest supermarket is in Welshpool (about half an hour away from Belan Bach lodges) We had a great time and would definitely go again.

Firstly, kudos to the owners for their hospitality and excellent service. Absolutely loved our stay at the Celyn 1 Lodge....great, quiet location with a gorgeous view of the mountains and just 45 mins from several stunning Welsh beaches including Aberystwyth. The lodge itself was really clean, had all the crockery and utensils essential for self-catering, tastefully decorated and everything was all set up ready for our arrival including the beds. All the modern cons were included including a flat screen telly, easy to use gas hob and oven, etc. The hot tub was a luxury which we absolutely enjoyed! Me and my partner would definitely recommend the Belan Bach Lodges as it was the perfect romantic escape we needed....we will be booking another holiday soon!!!
