A little further afield is the dolfinarium marineland at Harderwijk, and Arnhem, with its tributes and homage to some of the most famous actions of World War II, or the Airborne Museum at nearby Oosterbeek. The waterways of the village of Giethoorn are close by, as is the Hellendoorn adventure park. |

Within just a 40km radius are two amusement parks, a world famous Dolfinarium, the Krller-Mller museum, the most beautiful in all of Holland and renowned for its Van Gogh collection, De Hoge Veluwe, one of the largest nature reserves in Europe, Het Loo, a former palace reminiscent of Versailles, an open air museum and Giethoorn, the 'Venice of the North', where the only traffic is water borne. Amsterdam, a wonderful choice for a day trip, is easily accessible. |
