This campsite has its own fishing dock, hot tubs, outdoor pool and large, oak shaded emplacements.

This area of Florida has over 35 miles of powder-white barrier island beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.

Also situated next to the campsite is the 47 mile Pinellas Trail, a unique greenway corridor linking some of the county’s most picturesque parks and scenic coastal areas, alive with nature, flora and fauna.

Go west 5.5 miles, veer right onto Tyrone Boulevard (Bay Pines).

Move to center lane and go 1.5 miles to 95th Street north (second traffic light).

Pinellas Trail
This 34 mile trail runs alongside the campsite at St Petersburg and it is a unique greenway corridor linking some of the county’s most picturesque parks, scenic coastal areas and residential neighborhoods. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy open spaces, flora and fourna; including ancient live oaks, trailing Spanish moss, quiet waterways and tidal streams with all varieties of land and water birds.


Sunken Gardens
The Sunken Gardens are owned by the City of St. Petersburg and have been renovated into an excellent attraction. This is a botanical paradise in the midst of a bustling city, and this 100 year old tropical garden is home to some of the oldest botanical specimens.


The Pier, St Petersburg
Shop, dine (casual to elegant), visit the aquarium, or play miniature golf at the latest of the St. Petersburg piers extending a quarter of a mile into the bay.


Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens is a family adventure park offering an array of fascinating attractions based on exotic encounters with the African continent. Hubbard's Marina
This is an historic fishing village and boardwalk renowned for its world class fishing, dining, shopping and sightseeing tours. There are deep sea fishing trips, dolphin watching, nature trips as well as beach shelling and snorkelling trips.


Tarpon Springs
Historic, picturesque, and unspoiled, Tarpon Springs is composed of delightful residential areas, clustered around beautiful saltwater bayous and other waterways. With approximately 15 restaurants and more than 100 shops, the Sponge Docks offer something of interest for everyone.


Orlando
Only around an hour's drive away is the action packed city of Orlando. So why not visit Mickey Mouse at Walt Disney World, watch Shamu and his friends perform at Sea World or enjoy the many other attractions and water parks on offer.

Lodges - Sleeps up to 6 (max 4 adults)

Experience the other side of camping in one of our rustic Lodges. Spacious and complete, these units sleep 4 to 6 people. Lodges feature a separate bedroom with a full-size cedar log bed, 2 single child-beds on the upper floor, a bathroom with sink, shower and toilet, a full service kitchen that includes a sink, cook-top range, microwave and refrigerator, a dining area with cedar dinette table and four chairs, and a living area that includes a cedar log pull-out futon and air conditioning. This is camping!

Inventory:
Fridge with freezing compartment, microwave, cutlery, crockery, frying pan, saucepan, cutting board, tin opener, corkscrew, kitchen knives, mirror, broom, dustpan/brush, bin, air-conditioning unit, barbecue - charcoal or gas with utensils.

Kabin with 2 Bedrooms - Sleeps 6 (max 6 adults)

Economical and practical, these two bedroom units offer 232 square feet of living space. Air conditioning is provided.

Up to six people can sleep comfortably in the two-room Kabin.

The porch area comes equipped with a porch swing and with the "in the ground" BBQ, you will feel like you are getting back to nature in no time!

Please note that the Kabins offer no kitchen or bathroom facilities and no utilities are provided. Fridges cannot always be guaranteed.
