Schwielowsee Camp Site is a camp site in an area of Germany that is not yet so familiar to tourists. Discover how beautiful it is here! The site is located directly on the shores of the Schwielowsee lake close to Potsdam in former East Germany. You can relax under the tall trees. The trees provide welcome shade in the hot summer months.

Schwielowsee Camp Site has its own fine sandy beach with a beach bar and restaurant by the lake. Children can have the time of their lives in the playground, at the table tennis or by playing beach ball.
You can get fresh bread and soft drinks at the camp site. For provisions you need to go to the nearby village. Canoes, boats and bikes can be rented about 200 metres from the camp site. There are well marked out footpaths around the lake and in the surrounding woods.

Local Area

A day trip to Berlin or Potsdam from Schwielowsee Camp Site is not to be missed. Potsdam with its many castles and gardens is 15 km from the camp site. You can enjoy the cultural and culinary highlights and the countless bars and restaurants of Berlin which you can reach in about half an hour. Berlin is an interesting mixture of former glory and new times: you can go shopping in trendy fashion stores. Once back on the camp site you will be greeted only by the sound of singing birds and fluttering leaves!
