There are two well-stocked fishing lakes offering quality angling for both experts and beginners.

Rookley Country Park’s Lakeside restaurant provides the ideal venue for enjoying a meal, before settling down in the Midnight bar to take in the live entertainment on offer every evening, which guarantees that the fun will last late into the night.

The accommodation enjoys an attractive setting within lawned grounds which boast an abundance of flora, fauna and wildlife, yet the main facilities are all close at hand – including indoor and outdoor pools.

Explore the island’s amazing prehistoric legacy at the Dinosaur Farm and Dinosaur Isle Museum or search out living wildlife at the zoo and at Parkhurst Forest, one of the few remaining habitats of the British red squirrel.

There’s lovely coastal and country walking and cycling too – the more energetic might like to follow the round island route.

There was entertainment for the kids and adults, a park and crazy golf on site, as well as a swimming pool. We had a great time.

Rookley Countrey Park, on the Isle of Wight, is the best kept Caravan site that we've ever been to. It's in a quiet Lakeside setting where a few fishermen are enjoying the calm surroundings. The caravan itself was absolutely spotless (the glasses shone) The food in the restaurant was very good, and cheaper than a fish and chip meal. The staff are genuine and friendly. And it is central to all the most wonderful sights and Beaches. I would (and have done) highly recommend this site.

Very friendly site, comfortably the best I have stayed on in the UK. I came here as a child 25 years ago and have been back with my own family twice since. Brilliant for the kids, lots to do with safe play areas and the indoor/outdoor pools are an absolute bonus. Will certainly be coming back again!!

The park was in a good location close to amenities(with car), plenty to do for all ages ,excellent accomodation, club house, restaurant etc high quality surroundings, holiday was enjoyed by all, we would definitely go again.

It is very central to the Island, and therefore surrounded by beautiful countryside and a lovely friendly pub (The Chequers Inn) a must if you stay nearby!

Nice clean site, accommodation was excellent (premium) had freeview box and also a proper freezer in the kitchen. Ideal for a lovely evening walk round the site and also a supermarket within walking distance of the site .

I would recommend it which is what I have already done. I've told all my other family that didn't come, plus, all my friends. It was so easy to get to everywhere, it seemed to be in the middle of the Island, and the entertainment was brilliant.
