    Local Area

Stay in Hampshire and discover for yourself the county’s delightful combination of unspoilt beaches and great seaside entertainments, beautiful countryside and lively nightlife.

Hampshire’s top attractions are all easily accessible. For traditional amusements, great nightlife and fabulous sandy beaches head to Bournemouth; and Southampton, favourite haunt of the sailing fraternity, is full of lively cafés, bars and restaurants as well as a host of entertainments. The ancient cathedral city of Winchester offers quieter charms.

There’s so much to enjoy in Hampshire. Motoring fans flock to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, and harbour tour cruises around Portsmouth’s famous dockyard offer an intriguing glimpse of British naval history.

For more peaceful pleasures, and a chance to wander in a protected haven for wildlife, there’s the New Forest and nature lovers of all ages won’t want to miss Marwell Zoo or the Hawk Conservancy Trust at Andover – the Queen Elizabeth Country Park by Butser Hill is great for walking, cycling and horse riding too.

A very quiet park (which is what we wanted) and the accommodation had everything you could need. Excellent wheelchair adapted accommodation too. Great location for visiting the South Coast. We'll be back!

Lovely quiet location with a fantastic view of the marina. Easy access to many interesting attractions whether that be historic, meandering through the New Forest or just relaxing as a family.

This was a clean, well kept site with good accommodation. It was also quiet with countryside all around. A great place for us and we'll visit again.

A great little site and very friendly welcome, despite arriving very late. Accommodation was warm and cosy, and spotlessly clean.

This site is excellent for people who just need a base for touring the area. There are no entertainment facilities which is a good thing in my opinion because it does not attract the noisy brigade.

Accommodation was very good - clean and spacious. Good eating places nearby; in a very pleasant location with the harbour a few minutes walk away. Our Hoseasons holiday was very good value for money and we would recommend it.

Excellent adapted bathroom - better than any hotel we have stayed in (and we've been to a few!) Highly recommended accommodation for wheelchair users.
