It is a great chalet, good swimming pool and playpark, food in the bar was great and it is so close to Camperdown Country Park and Zoo. We will be back!! |

| Accommodation was excellent, built to a very high standard. It was great to come back from a days hiking to be met with a very inviting hot tub and sauna to ease the aching muscles. A beautiful location from where you can easily access some of Scotland's most famous places to visit. This holiday was recommended to me by a colleague at work and I intend recommending it to others. Looking forward to coming back in the summer. Excellent thank you!! |

| The Muirloch Lodges are secluded which gives you privacy when you are in your hot tub, which by the way you will never get out of. The rooms are large, spacious and decorated beautifully. The staff are personable and helpful if you have any problems. The restaurant offers a range of tasty local produce. The Lime Tree Indian restaurant in Couper Angus is amazing and staff are friendly if you fancy a 15 minute run in the beautiful countryside. If you try quad biking, it is great fun with views which are fabulous when you reach the top of the hill. You can also walk there if you fancy a stroll with a picnic. A great holiday if you like golf and fishing. But also great if you like walking, cycling, quad biking, sea scooters, inflatable canoeing or rolling around in a ball like a hamster on water. We had a brilliant time and will return soon. Scotland is a beautiful country with astounding scenery and I am fortunate that it's in my back yard. |

| The lodge was lovely and quite secluded, we were able to watch rabbits and squirrels from the living area windows. We had a slight niggle with a lack of instructions for the oven as all markings were missing from the dials but this was remedied during our stay and we received a voucher for the restaurant by way of compensation for the inconvenience. Maintenance checked the hot tub daily, and it was an all round a very pleasant stay and we would definitely book to stay there again. The Birkhill Inn just down the road was good for food and drink, we found their 'high tea' on a Sunday in the late afternoon/early evening excellent. Asda and Tesco stores are within a 10 minute drive on the outskirts of Dundee. Pitlochry and Kirriemuir are lovely for days out. Fort William and Ben Nevis were about 2.5 hours away and Edinburgh about 1.5 hours, and well worth a visit. Be warned though you won't want to go home at the end of your holiday!!!! |

| My wife and I are just back from a terrific stay at one of the Muirloch Executive lodges at Piperdam. The lodges with their own hot tub and sauna are immaculate. In the restaurant try the poached haddock with mashed potatoes, spinach with a poached egg and creamy sauce - it was delightful. All the staff in the park are so helpful, and my better half has to use a wheeelchair sometimes, but the lodges were just perfect. We had a really relaxing and enjoyable time - each day a group of 4 ducks pecked their beaks on the french doors looking for a bite to eat. You just had to go out on the decking and feed them, the ducks looked like they went round the same circuit each day! There are rabbits, squirrels and robins abound in the grounds.
Never thought we were the type to sit in a hot tub in cold wet weather but it was great and so relaxing, we had to drag ourselves out. And when you come out just head straight into the sauna.
A trip up to sunny Arbroath was excellent, sitting on the sea front with an award winning fish supper from the town centre. For a couple of hours it was well worthwhile.
In the nearby Camperdown leisure/country park you can find an Indian restaurant, a KFC, a MacDonalds, an ice rink and a cinema complex. Great for the kids and those rainy days that Scotland is famous for! |
