The port town of Bideford situated beside the River Torridge has a variety of shops restaurants pubs and a good park where children can play on the various equipment or paddle in the paddling pool. Try the pitch and putt or kick a ball. Bideford also has a twice weekly produce market and weekly open air market. There are several indoor swimming pools in the area at Northam Torrington and Barnstaple. Bude also has a indoor fun pool with wave machine and water shute plus other fun activities.
