Le Sougey is a spacious parc set on the western shore of Lac d'Aiguebelette. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy exploring the mountains surrounding the parc. On-parc activity centres around the lake, with it's clear turquoise coloured water.

Here you can hire pedalos or canoes and relax on the lakeside beach. The evenings are very peaceful, and the converted barn houses the popular alpine-style restaurant and bar offering some wonderful views. Novalaise is the nearest town, 5km away.

Local Area

Visit the city of Chambery, the ancient seat of the Dukes of Savoy with its imposing buildings, narrow alleyways and grand château fifteen miles away. A visit to Lake Annecy is a must.

Annecy is reputed to be the prettiest town in France, one hour's drive away, where you can enjoy a boat trip on the lake or explore the picturesque canals criss-crossed with bridges. Not far away is Aix-Les-Bains, an elegant Victorian spa town, named after the thermal baths that overlook it.

Grotte et Cascade
At the foot of the wallows mountains between the "Collar de Temie" and the "Tooth of idiots" A network of galleries and passages of which 250m is accessible. 40min guided tour underground is available. The waterfall cascades 45 meters into some giant pools before falling into Annecy Lake. Footbridges, staircases and slopes enable visitors to walk up to th source of the waterfall.
