The accommodation and location were excellent, the staff were friendly and happy to help. We took our 2 year old and 4 month old, so we hired a highchair and travel cot - excellent quality, and we couldn't get our son out of the park! Wtunning views of lake Ullswater from our lodge, there was nothing more you could ask for. A very enjoyable anniversary and birthday break! We will be coming back!

Hillcroft Holiday Park is fantastic, the lodge was everything we expected it to be, even had a Christmas tree. The location of the park is great, a 10 minute walk to Pooley Bridge village where there are 3 village pubs, the Sun Inn was great and served good food. Would recommend and certainly will be going back.

Accommodation furnished to a high standard and very clean and comfortable. Exceptional views from balcony on lodge we stayed in but if you have young children you may wish to ask for a lodge at bottom of site overlooking play park. Had a wonderful holiday and would recommend to anyone wanting to explore this part of the Lake District.

I found Hillcroft location excellent and within walking reach of the village, therefore car is not a must. You have walks and boats at your doorstep!!. Also the accommodation in the lodges was great, from home to home with nice furnishings and warm atmosphere. The park for the children make it excellent for families with young children. Overall experience was great.

Accommodation warm and cosy even for November - excellent site for exploring Ullswater out of season. Park had a fireworks party which residents were invited to and which we thoroughly enjoyed and we even received a free glass of wine. Staff very friendly. We would highly recommend this site.
