With its gorgeous natural setting and wine theme, this parc gives you a genuine flavour of France.

Part of the prestigious Castels chain, the parc owners have created a unique theme, based around the stunning wine producing chateau.

Guests are able to take guided tours around the chateau and vineyard and purchase a wide variety of wine that the estate produce every year.

The pitches are located amongst tranquil and picturesque oak trees and the facilities including a heated swimming pool and parc restaurant, will appeal to families with young children.

There is also an indoor spa, jacuzzi and sauna, and in May, June and September, you will get a free 45 minute session when you spend more than 3 nights on parc (small charge otherwise).

Off parc, try trekking at the Camargue national park or take a ride along the 25 miles of purpose built cycle track which runs from Sommieres through the parc itself.

Coming from the South or North on the A9 motorway take the exit 26 'Gallargue'.

Once through the toll booth, take first exit right and at the bottom of the slip road, take a right and another immediate right.

Follow the road over a humpback bridge and turn immediately left at the T junction.

You should go back under the A9 road bridge in the direction of 'Aubais' on the D12.

Follow this through the small village of Aubais in the direction of Sommieres, for about 6km.

Slow down when you see the wine chateau of ‘Domaine de Massereau’ on the left hand side and the entrance to the campsite is 500 yards on the right hand side, opposite the chateau.
