Local Area

Stella Maris is located close to the picturesque town of Umag on the most northerly point of Istria. The nearby villages are also well worth visiting. The many restaurants here offer many mediterranean specialities and folklore events. Venice on the other side of the Adriatic makes a wonderful day trip which you can make by a high speed catamaran.
