Porto Sole is a place where you will feel immediately at home. There is a diving centre and there are plenty of water sports facilities such as sailing, canoeing, and even paragliding. Or maybe you fancy a game of tennis, volleyball or football. Moreover you can make use of the amenities at the nearby tourist village of Petalon, such as a wonderful outdoor pool and children's pool.

You will be camping on the Adriatic on a 1.5 km long and 10 metre wide pebble beach with specially constructed flat areas for sunbathing. You have beautiful views of the ever changing coastline which is so typical of this region.
The two swimming pools on the camp site are in principle only accessible to guests of the hotel and apartments, but as a Suncamp guest you can also make use of them!

Local Area

Camping Porto Sole is located near the beautiful town of Vrsar (1 km away) on the sunny Adriatic coast. You will need to take the time to discover all that's worth seeing on the lovely Istrian peninsular. The town of Vrsar itself is beautiful, as are the eighteen uninhabited islands off the coast. The towns of Porec and Rovinj are highly recommended for day trips. You can see that Istria has a chequered history, with Roman in Italian influences. This region of Croatia was also once under Austro-Hungarian rule.

The bungalow tent is spacious and fully equipped. The interior is typically as follows: large living area with table and chairs which can also be used outside, for example in a shady spot under an awning, Sleeping area 1 with one double bed, Sleeping area 2 with two single beds. Between the sleeping areas there is usually a rail for hanging clothes. Cooking area with a 2 to 4 ring gas hob and fridge.
Typically there is ventilation in the top or side of the tent, allowing a pleasant temperature inside. Between the sleeping areas there is usually a rail for hanging clothes, and the tent has lighting. Terrace and/or private garden with garden furniture.
Frame tents for a maximum of 5 or 6 people have either one or two bunk bed(s) in the second sleeping area, or a third sleeping area, Popular makes of tent are Trigano and Socofim.
