    Local Area

Discover a county of contrasts when you take a break in Lancashire. There’s peaceful countryside to explore in the north and east, famous seaside resorts on the coast as well as two of England’s largest and most vibrant cities, offering some great shopping and exciting nightlife.

There are attractions galore at Blackpool, including the famous Tower, Pleasure Beach amusement park and the amazing Golden Mile.

For somewhere quieter, take a trip to genteel Lytham St. Annes, to the old fishing town of Fleetwood or to Morecambe Bay, one of our most important bird sanctuaries.

On your doorstep are the cities of Liverpool and Manchester. Don’t miss a trip to Salford Quays, home of the Lowry museum. And the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool has one of the finest art collections in the North.

The city of Lancaster is also well worth a visit, with its immense neo-gothic cathedral.

For rural tranquillity, make tracks to the Forest of Bowland, which is very popular with walkers and cyclists.

This is a clean and well run park with good facilities and close to some outstanding attractions in Lancashire and the South Lakes. We visited Blackpool and White Scar cave and enjoyed both.

Every time I have booked a holiday with Hoseasons it has been excellent value for money. Beacon Fell View is a beautiful setting and great for the kids. Myself and my young son have stayed on Hagan's sites several times and would recommend them to anyone wanting a UK break.

Brilliant. Fantastic. This was our first time staying in a static caravan, first time on a caravan park, was absolutely beyond my expectations. We had a caravan right near to the swimming pool and reception in the centre of the park and it was still quiet - not a sound could be heard at night, blissful! The accommodation was very clean, fully equipped, always had hot water and heating if needed, staff were helpful, the park was clean and tidy. Couldn't recommend it enough, definitely worth a look for a family holiday or even just a few days getaway from it all.

We had a four night stay at Beacon Fell View Country Park. It's a great location for the unspoilt Trough of Bowland Lancaster Castle (a must visit) and the Lake District. We used the swimming pool and gym facilities every day, we also had a drink every night in Mooneys Bar, a thoroughly enjoyable break, will go again.

The staff were excellent, all of them, very helpful and welcoming. We especially appreciated the efforts of the couple who managed the Beacon Fell site and their family friendly attitude. Our whole family went, all 11 of us and we all had a great holiday, right down to the 1 year old. We would all come back. The location was ideal for us, set in wonderful countryside, near to main attractions and activities for all the family.

I would recommend this holiday to others who have a young family like myself, there are lots of activities to keep the children happy, the location of the park is ideal and the accommodation is good value for money.
