Peaceful and quiet, child friendly as we had two children aged 6 and 2 we could let them play out knowing they were safe and in view all the time. The walks and fishing were excellent.

Lovely park. Hosts very welcoming. Accommodation very high standard. Our four children aged 2, 5, 6 & 8 all had wonderful time. They loved the friendly chickens who came right up to the caravan. They also enjoyed feeding the goats & ponies. Games room good for rainy day. Definitely recommend.

The cottage was beautifully renovated to a high standard. Everything you need was provided from milk, coffee and teabags to fresh towels, bedding and a hairdryer. I would definitely recommend anyone wanting a quiet relaxing break to stay at the Dairy Cottage.

We have just returned after a four day trip to Barmston Farm. You cannot fault this place at all. The standard of the accommodation was truly 5 star - everything you needed and more. We stayed in the cottage and it was also nice to have the enclosed secure area for our dog. My husband found the fishing good and we are now looking to booking a couple of long weekends. We cannot wait to return!

Peaceful location. Accommodation furnished to a very high standard. My husband really enjoyed the fishing on site and the highlight of his holiday was catching a 14lb fish. Enjoyed days out to York, Scarborough and Bridlington which were all less than an hours drive.

The site was peaceful and beautiful. The caravan was very well equipped, even down to kitchen roll! The site and staff were very welcoming to young children and our dog. There were animals for the children to visit and they were given an Easter egg each on arrival. There were plenty of places to walk our young dog and the staff seemed very laid back about her being there. We would highly recommend this site and certainly stay there again.

Great little site. We went with friends, two teenagers and a one year old. Our Granddaughter loved the new sand pit with the diggers that Nigel the owner has installed new for this year. Good for walking along the banks of the river Hull especially if you have a dog. You can walk for miles. Fishing lake that is well stocked and kept very tidy. There are only five caravans on this little site so it is very private. This is our 2nd visit and we are already looking to book again for later on in the year. Looking forward to our next visit.

It was peaceful, relaxing but slightly luxurious at the same time. A real old fashioned family holiday. The children adored the farm surroundings and we would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful little site, the 3 boys in our party, 4, 5 and 7 had a great time. The games room is excellent - wish we had looked at it earlier in our stay and the caravan (Woodmansey) was spotless and had little touches such as coffee and tea, salt and pepper and washing up liquid - not something you get everywhere!!! We will definitely be visiting again.

Had a long wekend at the Woodmansey caravan, and could'nt ask for more! Caravan was fantastic, gorgeous layout! On site was brilliant for my two kids, who especially loved the early morning rooster call... And loved that the ducks & chickens would wait outside the caravan for them to come and see them!! All round great family get away!
