The Croatian camp site Oliva in Rabac is situated in an old olive grove. The camping grounds are part of a larger complex which includes a hotel. You will stay on the camp site on marked out pitches under the olive trees or in one of the static caravans. There are 4 and 5 berth mobile homes. The grounds are beautifully laid out and close to a pebble beach. A picturesque track leads to the village of Rabac. There are restaurants, a pizzeria and shops close to the camp site. You can take a refreshing dip in the lovely swimming pool, with views of the wooded hills.


There are also plenty of opportunities for sport: a game of table tennis, tennis on the courts or minigolf in the park. There is an indoor pool and a fitness room in the hotel. But the biggest attraction is the Adriatic with its clear water, where you can swim, surf or dive to your heart's content. You can enjoy a pizza or a full meal in the restaurant with views of the sea. Live music on the terrace, a cocktail and a gentle see breeze complete this holiday feeling.

Local Area

A promenade takes you from the beach to the resort of Rabac with its old fishing harbour, lively outdoor cafes and places of entertainment. As with the whole of Istria the eastern part of this popular peninsula is just beautiful! And if you are in the area you can also visit the magnificent natural island of Cres. It's not always easy to tell the difference between a static caravan and a chalet. The absence of wheels and the comfortable interior - with a lot of use made of wood or wood-effect materials - make some static caravans seem just like a chalet.
In general chalets have more space and comfort than 'classic' static caravans and there is usually more storage space.
The interior is typically as follows: Living room with entrance and a dining/sitting area (which can usually be adapted into an additional double bed), Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds or bunk beds.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet (sometimes a separate toilet). Fitted kitchen with a 2 to 4 ring gas hob and fridge. Plenty of storage space for personal possessions. In most cases your chalet will have a covered wooden terrace with garden furniture for relaxing outdoors.
Some camp sites offer bungalows. These differ very little from chalets regarding the interior. It is possible that one or more of the bedrooms will be upstairs, and you should also be aware that not all bungalows are detached.
