Alpenferienpark Reisach is located close to the town of Kirchbach in the Carinthian Gailtal valley. An ideal place for a healthy holiday in the countryside! The camp site is located at an altitude of 850 metres surrounded by the high Alps and not far from the Italian border. To put it another way, a wonderful and peaceful spot in beautifully natural surroundings.

The lovely natural swimming pool on the terraced camp site, with a shallow part for small children is fed by pure spring water! Those who love water can enjoy all types of recreation.
A canoe trip for example or spectacular rafting with the whole family on the clear mountain streams. The Weissensee lake is not far from the camp site, well known for its ice skating races. In the summer it is a watersports paradise with beaches and surfboards and boats for rent. In the summer months the camp site is traffic-free. You can park your car on the car park outside the camp site. Now you can use internet on the camp site via a WiFi connection (payment required).

Local Area

But you are here of course to enjoy the Austrian mountains. The Gailtal valley at the foot of the Reisskofel (2371m) is wonderful for walking, or if you prefer more of a challenge, for climbing. Back on the camp site there is plenty of space for children to play with a playground and an original wooden mini chalet with real shutters. There is also a pleasant restaurant furnished with plenty of wood in true Carinthian style. You will soon feel at home here.

Chalet for maximum 4 people. The interior is typically as follows: Living room with entrance and a dining/sitting area (which can usually be adapted into an additional double bed), Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds or bunk beds.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet (sometimes a separate toilet). Fitted kitchen with a 2 to 4 ring gas hob and fridge. Plenty of storage space for personal possessions. In most cases your chalet will have a covered wooden terrace with garden furniture for relaxing outdoors.
