Alpen Camping Mark is perfect for those who love the great outdoors. Imagine an alpine meadow surrounded by soaring snow-capped mountains, a friendly welcome from the Mark family and plenty of space for the children to play – well that’s life here.
The owner’s son, a qualified alpine instructor, organises alpine walks, mountain bike trails, canyoning, children’s triathlon and guided tours of the glaciers.
For younger children there is a playground and a small pool, but it’s the pony rides on the Haflinger ponies in the nearby meadows that will cause a real stir.
As evening falls, sample a delicious meal from the family restaurant, or relax on your emplacement with a meal from the takeaway.

Coming from the south and west follow the A12 east of Innsbruck to the Wattens exit, turn right and follow the 171 east to Weer.
Alpen Camping Mark is well signposted, and can be seen from the road.

Alpen Camping Mark nestles in an unspoilt rural setting, a five-minute walk from the centre of Weer, with a small range of facilities. A four mile drive leads to the 15th century Germanic town of Schwaz, where you will find the Kellerjoch chairlift and a direct rail link to Innsbruck (12mls).

For the energetic, the scenic lake at Achensee (16mls) offers good windsurfing, sailing and boat trips. Visit the Alpenzoo, located 300m above Innsbruck. The zoo is in a beautiful setting with more than 1,500 Alpine animals, including some rare species. Access the zoo by cog railway from Innsbruck to Hungerburgbahn.
